Description
Depicted in the ancient Papyrus of Ani, the Weighing of the Heart ceremony was presided over by Anubis, the Egyptian god of death. In our Egyptian statue, the heart is placed on scales opposite Maat's feather of truth, hoping to be worthy of the afterlife. Imaginatively sculpted with Egyptian symbols and meanings, our Egyptian god sculpture is cast in quality designer resin and hand-painted in a polished basalt finish with antiqued gold accents to highlight every detail. Rich in symbolism, this work of Egyptian art created exclusively for Design Toscano invokes the historical traditions uncovered in the archeology of ritual.
