Description
Echoing the dances of the Maiko (or apprentice) Geisha, these almost 2-foot-high figurines arch in the centuries-old, graceful fan dances favored in western Japan. Oyuki (Honorable Snow) beckons with both of her unfolded fans while Teruha (Shining Leaf) holds her fan close to her heart. Both Basil Street Gallery sculptures are artisan cast in quality designer resin and hand painted with a uniquely hand-tinted, watercolor effect sure to bring admiration in home or gallery.
