African Princess Gele Headdresses Nubian Maiden Sculptural Busts: Set of Two

Design ToscanoSKU: QS93441

Description

Celebrating African sculpture by heralding the ancient headdress or "gele," Ghanaian artist Ohene pays homage to the intricate wraps that indicated the power and status of West African queens documented in ancient Nubian statues. Though both of our African statues are cast in quality designer resin, hand-painted in the celebratory palette of Africa and embellished with dimensional earrings, "Turban" is wrapped in safari theme fabric while "Badu" is deeply etched and sparkles with tiny faux jewels. Each Basil Street-exclusive, modern African statue can stand alone as exotic safari decor or take its place amidst your prized safari decorations for home or gallery.
